Main procedures
Pearl Bath
A micromassage of the skin by air bubbles which are released through a grille at the bottom of the tub. The effects are improved blood circulation and overall relaxation.
The procedure is recommended for the following indications:
- Musculoskeletal disorders
- Metabolic disorders
- Psychosomatic disorders
- Insomnia
- Neural disorders
Classical Massage
Classical massage – partial manual massage with cream or oil use, mainly focused on regeneration of the musculoskeletal apparatus. Improves local metabolism by acceleration of blood circulation and tissue oxygenation and release of muscle tension.
The procedure is recommended for the following indications:
- Chronic inflammation and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal apparatus
- Back and extremity pain
- Spinal chord atrophy
- Rheumatism
- Vascular congestion
- Neural diseases
- Stress
- Post-operative and post-traumatic conditions
Underwater massage
Underwater massage – whole body massage under water with water temperature 35 – 38°C. A nozzle focuses a stream of water on the individual massaged body parts (upper and lower extremities, the back). A comprehensive effect is brought about by the combination of heat, bath, massage and movement in water and includes muscle relaxation, skin and subcutaneous blood circulation improvement, lymph system stimulation, improvement of joint mobility and reduced pain of the mobility apparatus.
The procedure is recommended for the following indications:
- Rheumatic and degenerative joint diseases
- Muscle atrophy
- Metabolic disorders
- Chronic constipation
- Neural diseases
- Post-operative and post-traumatic conditions
Supplementary procedures
Dry Carbon Dioxide Bath
The dry carbon “bath” – is application of carbon gas in a special bag filled with carbon dioxide. This procedure is relatively gentle and is therefore recommended to seniors with effects similar to a carbon water bath. It is also used for effective regeneration and recovery of all age groups.
The procedure is recommended for the following indications:
- Musculoskeletal disorders
- Blood circulation disorders
- CAD
- Respiratory diseases
- Nerve system disorders
- Gynaecological and urological diseases
- Sexual dysfunction
- Condition after myocardial infarction
Peat
Peat – peat slices are made of the same natural material as wraps with the only difference that they are made of a thick layer of peat between two membranes. The membrane in contact with the skin is permeable and allows the natural substances to act on the body surface. The peat dressing is anti-inflammatory, regenerative, improves tissue blood circulation, reduces pain and palsy and has a cosmetic effect.
The procedure is recommended for the following indications:
- Musculoskeletal disorders
- Arthritis
- Obesity
Paraffin wrap
The wrap is mainly applied on the spine, joints and muscles as prescribed by the doctor, making use of slow heat transfer and effective mineral donation to these areas. The wrap relaxes and reduces pain of the mobility apparatus.
The procedure is recommended for the following indications:
- Musculoskeletal disorders
- Degenerative joint diseases
- Cellulite
Magnetic therapy
Magnetic therapy is a proven treatment method using an electromagnetic field. The broad spectrum of indications includes chronic and acute mobility disorders, post-traumatic conditions and blood circulation disorders. The effect onset comes after a longer period of time, magnetic therapy itself does not bring immediate improvement like other electric therapies.
The procedure is recommended for the following indications:
- Musculoskeletal disorders
- Pseudo arthritis, fracture complications
- Degenerative joint diseases
- Neural diseases
- Skin diseases
- Urinary and venereal diseases
- Blood circulation and immunity disorders
- Post-operative and post-traumatic conditions
Oxygen therapy
Oxygen therapy is regenerative oxygen treatment using a mask to inhale moistened oxygen in concentrations higher than in the air. This procedure increases oxygen supply to the tissues with a number of positive effects.
The procedure is recommended for the following indications:
- Respiratory insufficiency
- Gas poisoning
- Post-traumatic chest conditions
- Post-operative conditions (tumour chemotherapy)
- Prevention of myocardial infarction and angina pectoris
Inhalation
Inhaling microscopic particles of mineral water through the nose or the mouth improves passage of upper and lower airways. The mineral water particles show a healing effect on mucosa affected by inflammation. The water used for the inhalation is specifically optimised for the respiratory tract.
The procedure is recommended for the following indications:
- Infectious and allergic respiratory diseases
- Chemical and physical damage of airways
- Prevention of post-operative ORL complications
- Prevention for workers working in high-risk environment (chemical laboratories and factories)
Lymph drainage
Instrumental lymph drainage is based on application of alternate overpressure, most often on the lower extremities dressed in special sleeves. The purpose is prevention and treatment of venal and lymph oedemas, removal of the feeling of “heavy legs” and cellulite manifestations. Further indications include chronic lymph oedemas of the upper extremities, often following oncological diseases.
The procedure is recommended for the following indications:
- Post-operative conditions (plastic, vascular and general surgeries)
- Post-traumatic conditions
- Chronic swells
- Chronic venal insufficiency
- Swelling after varicose vein surgeries
- Rheumatic swells
- Arthritis
- Ischemic leg disease
- Podagra
- Diabetic angiopathy
- Obesity
- Trophic skin changes
- Cosmetic indications (cellulite, regeneration, detoxication)
Gas injections
Medicinal carbon dioxide is applied subcutaneously by injection and distributed in the subcutaneous layer to the surroundings of joints and the spine. This procedure significantly improves blood circulation for an accelerated healing effect.
The procedure is recommended for the following indications:
- Degenerative changes of vertebra and vertebral discs
- Vertebral pain
- CAD
- Extremity blood circulation disorders
Diathermy
Thermal effects of RF current cause deep heating of certain body parts and vessel widening, improvement of blood circulation and elasticity of connective tissues. Short-wave diathermy also shows analgesic effects.
The procedure is recommended for the following indications:
- Chronic inflammatory and degenerative musculoskeletal disorders
- Gastrointestinal organ diseases
- Gynaecological and urological diseases
- Respiratory tract diseases
Diadynamic
Alternate currents of different frequencies are used for stimulation of certain muscles, removal of big swelling and stiffness with analgesic effect.
The procedure is recommended for the following indications:
- Local muscular changes
- Post-traumatic conditions
- Chronic musculoskeletal disorders
Solux (Phototherapy)
Infrared light heats, improves blood circulation and helps muscle relaxation. The heat source is wolfram fibre with temperature up to 2600 °С.
The procedure is recommended for the following indications:
- Upper respiratory tract diseases (chronic sinusitis)
- Smooth muscle spasms
- Chronic pain syndrome of musculoskeletal apparatus
- Post-traumatic conditions
Interference therapy
Pulsing current gets sufficiently deep under the skin without causing pain thanks to the ultra short pulses. The procedure not only improves blood circulation but also reduces pain and positively affects muscle function.
The procedure is recommended for the following indications:
- Chronic inflammatory and degenerative musculoskeletal disorders
- Vertebrogenic algic syndrome
- Neuralgia
- Constipation
- Sphincter function disorders
